Suitable for children aged 18 mos. to 4 yrs.Drawing, writing, and painting strengthen your child's fine motor skills and grasp, which are both essential skills for learning to write legible letters and numbers.
Drawing for fun simply helps your child gain control of the pencil, which is a big advantage for schoolwork. And it's so lovely to receive a little handwritten letter from your child that says "lof u" - and equally surprising and amusing to notice the first note stuck to the door of your child’s room that says "no parints aloud". Later on, it’s time for more complicated writing projects such as handwritten birthday and Christmas cards – both made possible by a good grasp and a steady handwriting.
