My First - Modelling Clay

This super soft modelling clay is a feast for your little one's senses. The modelling clay is made especially for young children, so your child can easily handle and sculpt it. Playing with modelling clay boosts your child's imagination, creativity, and motor skills. And it's so fun and satisfying for little ones to create something with their own hands and curiously observe how the clay reacts to being squeezed, stretched, shaped and sculpted. Contents:
4 tubs of modelling clay in the colours orange, green, aquamarine, and purple (with glitter). The modelling clay doesn't dry out during play, but it should be stored in the tubs when not in use. Easy to wash off clothes and surfaces.

The activity is great for your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:

Suitable for ages 1 yr. to 4 yrs.

For example, when your child needs to sit still and pay attention to a story, it’s great to knead and squeeze various kinds of playdough, clay, or sensory slime while listening. It magically sharpens your child’s concentration, even though it is really a form of distraction.

Playdough lets your bigger child make anything from cats with four heads to knights and princesses and bring their wildest ideas to life. For very young children, playdough is mainly about the sensory experience.

We carry playdough of many different colours and types and with different firmness levels. Firmer playdough stimulates your child’s proprioception because it offers more resistance when played with. Among other things, firm playdough is excellent for making stop motion movies, because the shape holds well.

This activity is quiet and can help your child be still for just seven more minutes - or help them deal with long train or car rides without restlessly moving around in their seat. Particularly, for children who experience a lot of motor restlessness, fiddling with something that stimulates proprioception, hands, fine motor skills, and imagination while sitting still can help them calm down.

Oil-based playdough remains soft for several years. You can soften water-based playdough by adding a bit of water to it.
