What makes this product special
Suitable for ages 3 yrs. to 6 yrs.
This is a toy your child can just play with without first having to figure out how it works. There is no wrong or right way to play, and there is no rulebook. Playing in the present moment is the goal here. At ToyAcademy, we call this type of play intuitive play. It's also called "open ended play". We recommend that you take the opportunity to observe how things unfold when your child plays in ways that let them follow their intuition.
Unlike types of play which are aimed at achieving a result or playing within specific boundaries, intuitive play will most often give you fascinating insight into your child’s own problem-solving skills, imagination, and thought process.
Supports the development of important skills that really benefit your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:
- Supports hand-eye coordination, a skill we use e.g. when we kick or catch the ball that comes flying at us in the playground, when we cut in a straight line line with a pair of scissors, or when we need to pour a glass of water without spilling and making a mess.
- Creates music experiences for your child.
- Benefits your child's comprehension of cause and effect. It gives your child a sense of safety when they're able to predict outcomes and understand their world.
