Starting at a very young age, children start playing withstacking blocks or other objects on top of each other. By doing this, they learn about physics, balance, proportions, and gravity. At first, it's great fun toppling the stack of blocks. But later on, your child's motor skills become stronger, and they stack the blocks taller and taller or experiment with stacking figures, toy animals, or other things. If the blocks have numbers on them, your child can get better at numbers and sequences while playing.
