newméro Bricks Early Math Toy (3-9 yrs), 57 pcs
You know that feeling when you see a product and just instantly get it? This might not be one of those at first glance—but give the video just 30 seconds, and you’ll see how brilliant it is for helping your child understand number values, calculations, fractions, and other key number skills.
Maybe you have a child who’s curious about math, or who finds it a bit tricky and just isn’t a fan of learning from books? Then this is definitely worth a try!
The set includes colourful, numbered bricks designed to make numbers fun, approachable, and easy to grasp for little learners. The bricks have several built-in hints and helpful learning features. This new “guided design” encourages children to figure things out on their own and help each other, while giving teachers more time to support more students in the classroom.
There are lots of ways to play and learn with newméro number bricks:
Number bonds to 10 (pick a brick and find its match to make 10, with a built-in way for children to check their own answers)
Greater than / less than activities.
Counting and sorting
Subtraction
Build and understand numbers from 10–99
Build and understand numbers from 100–999
Build and understand numbers from 1000–3999
This large set includes 57 high-quality plastic bricks in 4 colours
- 2 sets of yellow bricks (numbers 1–9)
- 2 sets of green bricks (numbers 10–90)
- 2 sets of blue bricks (numbers 100–900)
- 1 set of orange bricks (numbers 1000–3000)
- Storage bag included
- A small booklet with activity ideas.
It’s brilliantly simple, making it easy for your child to understand the logic and jump straight into activities that (finally!) move learning off the page and into their hands. The set includes a booklet with activity ideas, plus access to a website where you can watch the exercises in short 30-second videos. An additional workbook is available separately.
1. The bricks have small counting knobs on top. For example, the brick with the number 5 has 5 knobs. By counting them, children can see and understand what “5” really means.
2. When you stack two number bricks, the counting knobs appear side by side, helping children see how numbers combine. This makes it easy to either add the two bricks or subtract one from the other. Ones stack neatly on top of each other, while tens stand out clearly with triangle-shaped counting knobs instead of rounded ones. Their knobs are also slightly offset, making it easy to count the tens first and then add the ones.
3. Number bricks that add up to 10, 100, or 1000 fit together like puzzle pieces along the edges. For example, 2 and 8 match: the right edge of the 2 fits neatly with the left edge of the 8.
4. Each brick has a small peg on the front, making it easy to connect two or more numbers—however many you need to build a number or show a calculation. Ones are the same length and stack evenly. If you combine the green 20 brick with the yellow 5 brick, the 20 will stick out underneath, since two-digit bricks are longer than single-digit ones. This helps children learn to set up calculations correctly by separating tens and ones.
What makes this product special
Toys for learning through play
Play is essential for children’s learning, well-being, and development. Through play, children learn about themselves and the world around them.
Play helps children:
• stay curious
• focus and become absorbed in what they're doing
• take on age-appropriate challenges
• build confidence
We believe children learn best by doing things for themselves:
• by making mistakes
• by getting messy
• by falling down and getting back up again
Resilience, confidence, and courage grow through experience, one small step at a time.
That's why we carefully choose toys that encourage independence, imagination, movement, and social skills — offering just the right balance of support, freedom, and opportunities to grow.
Carefully selected toys
We carefully handpick every toy from the vast world of toys available today. The only toys that make it into our range are ones we'd be happy to give our own children.
Every toy at ToyAcademy should:
• support learning through play
• be made from durable, high-quality materials
• be safe and enjoyable for children to play with
