Suitable for ages 4 yrs. to 7 yrs.
Doing puzzles develops your child's fine motor skills and patience. Besides, putting the pieces in place is a good way to get better at understanding how the pieces fit together to form a whole and figuring out where each part belongs in the big picture.
The ability to perceive something visually (with our eyes) and envision a whole (and what parts are missing) is an important skill in learning geometry and math as well as understanding how sums, sentences, or knitwork, among other things, are made up of patterns and sequences.
