Animal figures are a bit of a children’s classic. You'll probably see your child use them for all kinds of imaginative role play. Maybe the animals live at the zoo or do tricks on the farm – or maybe they've gone off on an adventure to the playground. The play with imagining what the animals experience stimulates the ability to make up crazy stories and express them.
Maybe the animals like to be counted, sorted, stacked on top of each other, or lined up in a row. The animals also come in handy when your child is practising math and needs to work out how many animals you'll each get if you are three people and share them equally between you.
