What makes this product special
Have conversations about what happens to food inside the body, where our food comes from, and when we usually eat it. This helps to strengthen your child’s vocabulary and knowledge. Toy food is ideal for pretend play, which inspires your child to imitate real-life scenarios such as cooking, shopping, or visiting a café.
Through role play, your child can gain experience with rules, boundaries, and opportunities for identity formation and social interaction. When children play with play food together, they practise how to take turns, communicate and work together to reach compromises. You can also use the play food to play grocery store and practise greeting customers, writing signs, and calculating special offers. Your child can practise taking payments and giving back change, which is a great way of practisting their math skills.
The activity helps your child develop new skills and is great for your child's well-being:

- In role play, your child creates their own universe or imitates us adults.
