Toy food is ideal for pretend play, which inspires your child to act out real-life situations such as cooking, shopping, or going to a café. Have conversations about what happens to food inside the body, where our food comes from, and when we usually eat it. This helps to develop your child’s knowledge and vocabulary.

Role playing is a way for children to act out real-life situations, which expands their understanding of the world they live in. You can expand your child's play opportunities by playing grocery store, maybe with little homemade special offer signs. That way, you can learn about both numbers and words, and your child can strengthen their math skills and their manners through role play.
