Suitable for children aged 3 yrs. to 7 yrs.
Talk about where food comes from, when we typically eat it, and where it goes after we swallow it. This helps to develop your child’s knowledge and vocabulary. Play food is ideal for imaginative play, which inspires your child to imitate real-life scenarios such as shopping, cooking, or visiting a café.
Pretend play allows children act out everyday tasks and activities, which builds up their understanding of the world they live in. You can also use the play food to play grocery store and practise greeting customers, writing signs, and calculating special offers. Your child can take payment at the cash register and give back change, which is a great way of practisting their math skills.
