Talk about where food comes from, when we typically eat it, and where it goes after we swallow it. This helps to strengthen your child’s knowledge and vocabulary. Play food is fantastic for role play, which inspires your child to copy real-life situations such as shopping, cooking, or going to a café.

With play food, your child can also play and be silly with food in a way that is maybe not okay at the table with real food.
