The activity is wonderful for your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:

Pretend play is a way for children to copy everyday scenarios, which develops their understanding of the world they live in. You can also use the play food to play grocery store and practise greeting customers, writing signs, and calculating special offers. Your child can practise taking payments and giving back change, which is a great way of practisting their math skills.
