What makes this product special
Play food is fantastic for role play, which inspires your child to act out real-life situations such as cooking, shopping, or being in a café. Talk about where food comes from, when we typically eat it, and where it goes after we swallow it. This is great for your child’s knowledge and vocabulary.
Role play where children copy real-life activities builds up their understanding of the world they live in. With play food, your child also gets to play with food in a way that is maybe not allowed at dinner with real food. You can also use the play food to play grocery store and practise making special offers, writing signs, and politely greeting customers. Your child can take payment at the cash register and give back change, which is a great way of practisting their math skills.
Helps develop important skills that are great for your child's well-being and ability to learn:
- Develops your child's fine motor skills through play.
- Develops hand-eye coordination, a skill used for example when throwing, catching, or kicking the ball that comes flying at us in PE class, or when cutting accurately with a pair of scissors.
