Suitable for ages 1 yr. to 6 yrs.
Construction play is fun, a bit time consuming, and very educational. We'll leave out a long-winded dissertation on how this type of play strengthens your child's hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills as well as interest in entrepreneurship and understanding of geometry.
While playing, your child also gets practical experience with problem-solving when it comes to figuring out how to build the construction so it doesn't collapse. Your child's construction play with all sorts of building materials develops their patience. Do you know Plus-Plus?
Plus-Plus are lovely construction toys that most kids adore. The pieces are shaped like little plus signs and can be put together on all sides – and they come in many, many colours and both in 2 x 1.2 x 0.4 cm and 5 x 3 x 1 cm. Playing with Plus-Plus strengthens children's sense of geometry and logic. On YouTube (among other places), you can check out lots of fun instructions and ideas for building with Plus-Plus.It’s easy to clean Plus-Plus® pieces in the washing machine/dishwasher (whichever you have access to) at 60 degrees. The Plus-Plus® pieces are made in Denmark, and the factory exclusively runs on renewable energy.
You can sell or give away your Plus-Plus when the day comes when your child no longer wants to play with them. Plus-Plus® are durable enough to withstand several years of use in preschools and childcare centres, and they'll last almost a whole lifetime when played with at home.
