Construction play is very educational, very fun, and a bit time consuming. We'll leave out a long-winded piece about how this type of play stimulates your child's hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and creativity as well as their understanding of geometry and interest in entrepreneurship.
While playing, your child also gets hands-on experience with solving problems as they figure out how to design the construction so it doesn't suddenly collapse. Your child's construction play with all sorts of pieces, blocks, and other building materials stimulates their imagination. Also, it's just so cool and satisfying to construct a tall, tall tower or build the longest marble run ever, or to maybe make a really cool domino track and film it when it topples.

The pieces are shaped like little plus signs and can be put together both in 2D and 3D – and they are available in small (2 x 1.2 x 0.4 cm) and large (5 x 3 x 1 cm) sizes and many colours. Plus-Plus are wonderful building toys that most children love. Building with Plus-Plus strengthens children's sense of logic and geometry.Suggestions and a wealth of building instructions for Plus-Plus are available on e.g. YouTube.It’s easy to clean Plus-Plus® pieces in the washing machine/dishwasher (whichever you have access to) at 60 degrees. The Plus-Plus® pieces are manufactured in Denmark, and the factory exclusively uses renewable energy sources.
Plus-Plus can easily withstand years of play in schools and daycares, and they can withstand about an entire lifetime of building play at home. Donate or sell your Plus-Plus when the day comes when your child outgrows them.
