Item No: 1176-CC3876003
Logical thinking
Shape and colour recognition
Observation

A lovely puzzle bursting with vroom, wheels, and seriously cool vehicles. Can your child name them all?

This puzzle has large pieces that work just as well on the floor as on the table, perfect for kids who like to move while they puzzle. After all, who says puzzling has to be a sit-still activity?

Made by Crocodile Creek, a family-run company from Durham, USA.

The pieces and the box are made from recycled cardboard. Crocodile Creek puzzle designs are created by artists from around the world and printed with soy-based inks.

Talk about the vehicles as you put the pieces together.  Chatting about why a cement mixer’s drum needs to spin, where you’d love to fly on holiday, or whether you’d rather travel by train, bus, or car, helps grow your child’s vocabulary and knowledge.

Measures 50 x 68 cm.
Suitable for ages 4 yrs. to 8 yrs.

Doing puzzles is a good way to get better at understanding how single pieces form a whole and figuring out where each piece belongs in the big picture.

Being able to perceive something visually (with our eyes) and envision what's missing from a whole is an important skill when it comes to learning geometry and math as well as comprehending how sums, sentences, or knitwork, among other things, are constructed of patterns and sequences.

If the puzzle has a special topic, such as animals, anatomy, or geography, you can talk about it and strengthen your child's vocabulary while you're placing the pieces.

This activity supports essential skills which support your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:

  • Develops your child's visual perception.
  • Strengthens logical skills and abilities.
  • A great way to train and develop observation skills.
