Suitable for children aged 3 yrs. to 6 yrs.
Doing puzzles is a fun way to get better at understanding how single pieces form a whole and envisioning where each piece needs to be placed in the big picture.
Being able to perceive something visually (with our eyes) and envision what's missing from a whole is an important skill for learning geometry and math as well as comprehending how sentences, sums, or a piece of knitting, among other things, are constructed of patterns and sequences.
If the puzzle has a special theme, such as time, animals, or the universe, you can expand your child's vocabulary by talking about it while doing the puzzle.
