Suitable for ages 7 yrs. to 11 yrs.
Building and construction play is educational, fun, and also time consuming. We'll leave out a long dissertation on how this type of play benefits your child's fine motor skills, creativity, and hand-eye coordination as well as their understanding of geometry and interest in entrepreneurship.
With this type of play, your child also gets real-life experience with problem-solving when they need to figure out how to put together the construction so it doesn't suddenly collapse. Your child's construction play with all sorts of building materials makes it fun for them to concentrate. Also, it's just so cool and satisfying to construct a tall, tall tower or build the longest marble run ever, or to maybe make a really cool domino field and film it when it topples.
