What makes this product special
Have conversations about what happens to food inside the body, where our food comes from, and when we usually eat it. This is great for your child’s vocabulary and knowledge. Toy food is ideal for role playing, which inspires your child to act out real-life scenarios such as cooking, shopping, or going to a café.
Role play where children copy everyday activities strengthens their understanding of the world around them. With play food, your child also gets the chance to be silly and play with food in a way that is most likely not okay at dinner with real food. You can also use the play food to play grocery store and practise greeting customers, writing signs, and calculating special offers. Your child can practise taking payments and giving back change, which is a great way of practisting their math skills.
This activity develops important skills which support your child's well-being and ability to learn:

Do you know mamamemo?
MaMaMeMo is a Danish brand that was one of the first toy companies to (among other things) create play food which looks like local food. The quality is always top notch, and the huge selection includes ice cream stands, play kitchens, play tents, and much more.There is a sweet background story to the name MaMaMeMo. The name MaMaMeMo was formed from the first two letters of 4 children's names: Marie, Mads, Mette, and Morten. It is those four children's play with MaMaMeMo play kitchens, wooden play food, bakery counters, mixers, and more which has inspired their parents Anne-Marie and Poul to mass produce these wonderful playthings for children worldwide.
