What makes this product special
Suitable for children aged 5 yrs. to 11 yrs.
When your child plays with a ball using their feet, hands, head, or a bat/racket, their depth perception is developed. Ball games may also have rules, and it's good for your child to learn how to follow them. So, when your child persistently maintains that there's definitely NO penalty kick, or that the ball was not out of bounds, don't worry - that's a learning moment. Ball games also gives your child's proprioception great workout - and that's a sense which cannot be overstimulated.
Develops essential skills that really benefit your child's well-being and ability to learn:
- This type of play supports your child's gross motor skills. It especially involves your child's ability to control the coordination of their legs and arms.
- Supports hand-eye coordination, a skill we rely on for example when we throw, kick, or catch a ball that comes flying at us in the playground, when we cut accurately line with scissors, or when we need to pour a glass of water without spilling.
- Motivates your child to practise their social skills at home in a safe environment.
