Your child's lovely Rubens Tummies doll doubles as a temperature-regulating heat or cooling pad. Just pop it in the oven, microwave, or freezer. Each Rubens Tummies doll contains a fabric pouch filled with heat-treated organic wheat kernels grown in Sweden.

The dolls have FSC, Global Recycle Standard, and Organic 100 certifications. The dolls reflect diverse ethnicities.

In addition to the well-known and beloved features of the cute Rubens empathy dolls, which help develop your child’s compassion and social skills, a Tummies doll is also a trusty, comforting friend for your child when they need a cooling pad on their sore knee or a warm, cosy cuddle buddy to sleep with on chilly nights.

 

How to use the doll as a heat/cold pack:

Heat: Remove the fabric pouch. Place it in the microwave for 30 seconds or in the oven at 100°C for 10 minutes. Now the pouch is nice and warm.

Cold: Place the pouch of wheat kernels in the freezer for 2 hours. It will stay cold for about 30 minutes.

 

Hygiene:

Remember to moisten the wheat kernel pouch regularly. To do this, simply place it in the microwave together with a glass of water for 2 minutes at 600W. This should also be done before using the pouch for the first time. 

The pouch of wheat kernels is not washable. Without the pouch, the doll can be washed at 30°C and tumble dried at low heat. The clothes can be hand-washed.
