When choosing the right size for your child, be sure to measure carefully. The weights should sit below the belly button. This vest fits children around 10 years old, but we recommend choosing the size based on height and weight rather than age.
As a general rule for weighted products, the weight should not exceed 10% of your child’s body weight. However, vests are a bit different: for example, a child weighing 23 kg may find a vest of 1.8 kg quite heavy, so we encourage you to keep this in mind when using a weighted vest for sensory integration.
