What makes this product special
This toy has no rules or right or wrong ways to play, and your child can simply play with it without worrying about how to use it. Playing in the present moment is the goal here. At ToyAcademy, we call this type of play intuitive play - its also called "open-ended play". We recommend that you seize the chance to notice what happens when your child plays using their intuition.
As opposed to types of play which are about achieving a result or playing within specific boundaries, intuitive play will most often let you have an interesting peek into your child’s own imagination, thought process, and problem-solving skills.
The activity supports skill development and is wonderful for your child's well-being:
- Gives your little one an opportunity for immersion and relaxation.
- Supports hand-eye coordination, a skill we use for example when we throw, kick, or catch the ball that comes flying towards us in PE class, when we cut accurately line with a pair of scissors, or when we need to pour water into a glass without spilling.
