This activity benefits important skills which are great for your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:
- Stimulates hand-eye coordination, which is activated e.g. when we catch or kick a ball that comes flying towards us in PE class, or when we cut a precise line with a pair of scissors or want to pour water into a glass without spilling.

Many children enjoy splashing about in water. The beach and the kitchen sink are both wonderful for having fun with water. Your child learns a lot from experiencing how buoyancy can push toys to the surface or playing with water droplets. Also, bath toys are a lovely way to keep your child distracted while they're having their hair washed or soaking in the bath.
