Suitable for children aged 18 mos. to 4 yrs.

With play furniture, your child can practise well-known everyday scenarios in the supermarket or the kitchen. Also, other types of play furniture are excellent for getting your child ready for new experiences such as a doctor's appointment or going to a café. Among other things, role play lets your child experiment and practise how to place an order, be polite, or describe their symptoms. It’s also ideal if your child is a little bit shy or nervous around strangers.

Practising how to sort and categorise objects improves your child’s ability to sort through the many impressions they experience daily. Sorting is basically a way of learning and comprehending new concepts, words, and experiences. In order to understand what something is and what it means, we first need to grasp how it differs from something else.

Quite a few real-life situations require us to organise and sort – for example, we use that skill when we solve equations, sort our garbage, or separate our laundry.

Supports the development of important skills that really benefit your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:

  • Develops your child's fine motor skills.
  • Develops your child's perception of colours/shapes.
  • In role play, your child recreates everyday situations through play, imitates us adults, and creates their own universe.
