With play food, your child also gets to play and be silly with food in a way that is most likely not tolerated at mealtime with real food. You can also use the play food to play grocery store and practise making special offers, writing signs, and politely greeting customers. Your child can practise taking payments and giving back change, which is a great way of practisting their math skills.
