Soap Making Kit - Fruit & Vegetables, 9 pcs
Everything you need to make 9 small soaps shaped like strawberries, grapes, apples, watermelons, and... wait... is that a tomato or an orange?
- Melt the soap in the microwave or using a water bath
- Mix in colour. Start by making a small batch of green soap
- Pour the mixture into the moulds and let it set, tilting the mould slightly so the soap settles in the right place
- It takes about 10 minutes to set. While you wait, melt more soap and mix in orange and another batch of green for the rest of the fruits
- Pour the soap into the moulds and let it set for one hour
- Remove the soaps from the moulds and leave them to fully harden for a few more hours
Please note: The moulds are heat-resistant up to 50°C.
Now you’ve created your own soaps—perfect to keep or give away as a lovely gift.
It’s a fairly simple process, and children from around 5–6 years can join in with the help of a patient adult.Â
While you’re waiting for the soap to melt or set, why not pass the time with a little chat about why soap is actually so important?
There’s enough soap base to repeat the process and make a total of 9 soaps.
If you get hooked on soap making, you can buy more soap base in craft shops and reuse the moulds. You can also use them to make your own play food with Silk Clay or polymer clay.
What makes this product special
Toys for learning through play
Play is essential for children’s learning, well-being, and development. Through play, children learn about themselves and the world around them.
Play helps children:
• stay curious
• focus and become absorbed in what they're doing
• take on age-appropriate challenges
• build confidence
We believe children learn best by doing things for themselves:
• by making mistakes
• by getting messy
• by falling down and getting back up again
Resilience, confidence, and courage grow through experience, one small step at a time.
That's why we carefully choose toys that encourage independence, imagination, movement, and social skills — offering just the right balance of support, freedom, and opportunities to grow.
Carefully selected toys
We carefully handpick every toy from the vast world of toys available today. The only toys that make it into our range are ones we'd be happy to give our own children.
Every toy at ToyAcademy should:
• support learning through play
• be made from durable, high-quality materials
• be safe and enjoyable for children to play with
20 years of experience as parents and professionals
