However, we still recommend storing it in an airtight container when not in use to help it stay soft and mouldable for even longer.

• Soft Clay is made from paraffin wax. Due to its high oil content, it cannot be softened with water.

We carry playdough of several different types and colours and different hardness levels. Firm playdough stimulates your child’s proprioception by providing a bit more resistance. Among other things, firm playdough is very suitable for making stop motion movies, because it holds its shape better.

This activity is quiet and can help your child stay still for just seven more minutes - or help them cope with long car or train rides without restlessly wiggling about in their seat. Especially, for children who struggle with motor restlessness, fiddling with something that activates their hands, proprioception, imagination, and fine motor skills while sitting still can bring a sense of calm.

Playdough can be either water-based or oil-based, and each type has its own advantages. You can soften water-based playdough by kneading in a bit of water. But oil-based playdough tends to stay soft for years.
