Shape just about anything with Soft Clay. Your child can mould, squish, and create again and again. Soft Clay doesn’t dry out, but stays soft like traditional modelling clay.

However, we still recommend storing it in an airtight container when not in use to help it stay soft and mouldable for even longer.

Soft Clay:

• Soft Clay is made from paraffin wax. Due to its high oil content, it cannot be softened with water.

For example, when you need to sit and pay attention to a story, it’s wonderful to knead and play with various kinds of playdough, clay, or sensory slime while listening.

Playdough lets your bigger child make anything from cats with four heads to princesses and knights and bring their funniest ideas to life. For the littlest ones, playdough is mainly about the sensory experience.

We carry playdough of several different types and colours and with different hardness levels. Firm playdough stimulates your child’s proprioception by providing a bit more resistance. Among other things, firm playdough is excellent for making stop motion movies, because the shape holds better.

It’s a calm activity that can help your child be still for just five more minutes - or help them deal with long train or car rides without restlessly wiggling around in their seat. Especially, for children who struggle with motor restlessness, fiddling with something that engages their hands, proprioception, imagination, and fine motor skills while sitting still can create a sense of calm.

Playdough can be either water-based or oil-based, and each has its own advantages. You can soften water-based playdough by kneading a bit of water into it. But oil-based playdough tends to stay soft for years.
