Stack the blocks so the tree lines up from top to bottom of the tower, or count the objects on one of the other sides. Talk about the different animals and see if you can name the numbers together.

Suitable for ages 1 yr. to 2.5 yrs.When children play by stacking blocks or similar objects on top of each other, which they start doing as soon as they are able to sit up on their own, they simultaneously learn about physics, balance, proportions, and gravity. At first, it's great fun toppling the stack of blocks. But later on, your child's motor skills improve, and they stack the blocks taller and taller or try stacking figures or other things. If you choose stacking blocks with numbers, your child can get better at numbers and sequences while playing.
This activity develops essential skills which support your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:

- Strengthens hand-eye coordination, a skill we use for example when cutting accurately with scissors, pouring water into a glass without spilling, or when kicking or catching a ball that comes flying at us in the playground.
