Sticky Base Modelling Gel 100 gr

Have you ever tried gluing beads onto a craft project one by one with a hot glue gun? It’s a serious test of patience and takes a very steady hand. 

With this clear, self-hardening modelling gel, you can quickly and easily decorate almost any surface with beads, sequins, coloured sand, and other creative bits and bobs. 

The modelling gel sticks well to rough and absorbent surfaces such as cardboard, styrofoam, wood, and clay. You can also decorate books and other smooth surfaces. Just give them a quick rub with sandpaper first to help the sticky base adhere properly. 

Customise the base to match your creative idea. We’ve experimented with mini glass beads, sequins, rice, sand, and colourful pearls with fantastic results. The gel is delightfully satisfying to work with and somehow doesn’t stick to your fingers despite its sticky powers. It’s wonderfully calming and tactile to knead and shape — honestly, playing with the gel is half the fun. 

Decorate wooden picture frames, styrofoam eggs, or even your diary. 

PLEASE NOTE: The modelling gel hardens in approximately 24 hours at room temperature, depending on how thickly it has been applied. So remember to finish your project before going to bed or leaving the house. Store any leftover sticky base in the tub with the lid tightly closed.
