Textured Sensory Blocks, 10 pcs

A lovely set of 10 sensory blocks made from washable material. Each block features different colours, shapes and textured details, giving your little one plenty of sensory stimulation during play. 

The blocks can be joined together using the little bumps and holes, almost like a very early version of DUPLO® bricks.

They’re also ideal for a gentle chew when teething gums need a little relief.

Each block also features a number and simple symbols — perfect for chatting about and building your child’s first words

The activity is great for your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:

• Your child can improve their tactile sense (sense of touch), which supports your child's well-being.
• Good for getting your child's body moving, which in turn engages their gross motor skills.
• Benefits hand-eye coordination, which is used for example when we cut a straight line with scissors, when we need to pour water into a glass without missing, or when we catch or kick the ball that comes flying at us in PE class.

When children experiment with stacking blocks or other small objects on top of each other, which they start doing at a very young age, they also learn about physics, proportions, gravity, and balance. At first, it’s mostly about pushing over the blocks. But later on, your child's motor skills improve, and they learn to stack 3, 5, or 10 blocks or begin stacking toy animals, figures, or other things. If you choose stacking blocks with numbers, your child can practise numbers and their sequences while playing.
