In addition, playing games gives your child an opportunity to learn to cope with losing a game. We recommend not letting your child win every single time you play. Learning how to cope with defeat in safe surroundings together with you builds resilience in your child. After all, you can no longer protect your child from defeat and disappointment later in life when they have to handle things on their own.
