What makes this product special

Pictograms make activities easier to manage and understand for children, young people, and adults with special needs.

This set of 35 magnetic pictograms, designed for use with a Time Timer, is a lovely little helper for children who need a bit of extra support keeping track of daily routines.

Pictograms help develop independence and improve time awareness.

This set is magnetic, durable, and ready to use.

You can place the pictograms on any magnetic surface—like the fridge—and create your very own plan for the day, step by step.

For example, create a “Good Morning” routine so your child can see what comes next: 10 minutes to get dressed, 20 minutes for breakfast, and 10 minutes to brush teeth, wash hands, and use the toilet—then it’s time to head out.

Time Timer is not included and must be purchased separately.

Here, important skills are stimulated, which are wonderful for your child's well-being and ability to learn:

  • Develops your child's self-reliance, so that your little one, who WANTS to do things on their own, CAN do them. This can make everyday frustration easier to handle.
  • Great for teaching your child to be more independent and self-assured.

Suitable for children aged 3 yrs. to Seniors

Do you know Time Timer?

Being able to understand and sense time reduces stress and provides a sense of safety. With the Time Timer, time becomes visual, and you don't need to be able to read a clock in order to grasp how time is counting down.

The concept of time is abstract, so in our opinion, the Time Timer is simply one of the most ingenious things we have seen in a long time. The red (or blue) disc clearly indicates how much time is left. The Time Timer has no distracting audible ticks, and it's easy to track the countdown.

We have several Time Timer models to choose from. For example, Time Timers come with different minute counts, in various sizes, and even as wristwatches. The Time Timer is also great for children and adults with special needs. The larger models are suitable for bigger settings or for visually impaired users. They have high colour resolution and silent timers without ticking.

The main idea behind the 60 mins Time Timer
The clock counts down, but the numbers also go downwards and clockwise instead of up.

It's very logical. For example, when you want to set the Time Timer to 25 minutes, so your child understands there are 25 minutes left of the evening before they need to brush their teeth and hear a bedtime story, this is how you do it on the standard Time Timer:

Adjust the red disc so it covers 25 minutes. Now the dial is white from "12 o’clock" to where it says "35 minutes" on a clock dial – because from "35" to "12 o’clock" is 25 minutes.

The smart thing about the Time Timer is that the numbers are reversed. On the Time Timer, it doesn't say "35" when you set the timer to 25 minutes. It logically shows "25". And the red disc counts down from "25" and not up from "35".

So, this means you need to set the Time Timer to "25" when you want to count down from 25 minutes. After 5 minutes, the red disc shows 20 minutes, so it's clear to see that there are only 20 minutes left until toothbrushing time.
