Do you know Time Timer?

Having a good sense and understanding of time makes us feel safe and reduces stress. With the Time Timer, time is visualised, and you actually don't need to be able to tell time in order to understand how time is counting down.

For instance, if your child has 15 minutes to eat breakfast in the morning, you just need to set your Time Timer to 15 minutes. The timer then counts down silently, while the red/blue disc gradually gets smaller and smaller.

We have several Time Timer models to choose from. You can get Time Timers with different minute counts, in various sizes, and even as wristwatches. The Time Timer is also great for adults and children with special needs. The larger models are suitable for bigger settings or for visually impaired users. They have high colour resolution and ultra quiet timers with no audible ticking.

The main idea behind the classic 60-minute Time Timer
The clock counts down, but it goes clockwise and the numbers also go down instead of up.

It's quite logical. For example, if you need to set the Time Timer to 25 minutes, so your child knows there are 25 minutes left of the evening before they need to brush their teeth, scrub their toes, and crawl into bed, this is how you do it on the Time Timer:

Adjust the red disc so it covers 25 minutes. Now the dial is white from "12 o’clock" to where it would say "35 minutes" on a dial – because there are 25 minutes from "35" to "12 o’clock".

The clever thing about the Time Timer is that the numbers are reversed. On the Time Timer, it doesn't say "35" when you set the timer to 25 minutes. It logically shows "25". And the clock counts down from "25" rather than counting up from "35".

This means you need to set your classic 60-minute Time Timer to "25" when you want to count down from 25 minutes. When 5 minutes have gone by, the red disc shows 20 minutes, so it's clear that there are only 20 minutes left before bedtime.
