Do you know Time Timer?

Your child becomes much more self-reliant from being able to tell time and learning to manage their own schedule; for instance, how long until mealtime or when guests will arrive. The Time Timer has a dial that shows time counting down.

Time is abstract, so in our opinion, the Time Timer is just brilliant. The red (or blue) disc clearly shows how many minutes are left. The Time Timer is silent, and it's easy to track the countdown.

There are several Time Timer models to choose from. Time Timers are made with different minute counts, in various sizes, and even as wristwatches. The Time Timer is also great for people with special needs. The bigger models are suitable for bigger settings or for visually impaired users. They have high colour resolution and silent timers without ticking.

The idea behind the 60-minute Time Timer
The clock counts down, but it goes clockwise and the numbers also go downwards instead of up.

It's really logical. For example, if you need to set the Time Timer to 25 minutes, so your child knows 25 minutes are left of the evening before lunchboxes need to be packed and toes need to be scrubbed before bedtime, this is how it's done on the Time Timer:

Adjust the red disc so it covers 25 minutes. Now the dial is white from "12 o’clock" to where it says "35 minutes" on a regular clock – because there are 25 minutes from "35" to "12 o’clock".

The clever thing about the Time Timer is that the numbers are reversed. On the Time Timer, the dial logically shows "25" (not 35) when you set the timer to 25 minutes. And the clock counts down from "25" rather than counting up from "35".

This means you need to adjust your standard (60 min) Time Timer to "25" when you want to count down from 25 minutes. When 5 minutes have gone by, the red disc will be at "20" minutes, so it's clear to see that there are only 20 minutes left before bedtime.
