Item No: 1075-6030
Vision
Gross motor skills
Hand-eye coordination

Beautiful stacking cups with endless possibilities.

The cups have different shapes and features on the bottom. Some have holes, and others have a shape, like a star or a circle. Your child can use the cups in the sandbox for stacking or building games or as sand sieves. They can also be used as "shower cups" in the bath. The only limit is your imagination, really.

Great for stimulating your child’s curiosity.

Supports your child's motor development.

Bioplastic is a unique plastic material approved for food contact. That means your child can safely eat from or with toys made of bioplastic. Bioplastic is a durable and stable material that does not release chemicals or hazardous substances. It does not warp or melt when cleaned in hot soapy water or put in the dishwasher. Dantoy’s bioplastic toys are not designed to be biodegradable. Biodegradability would mean a shorter life span, and that would not be sustainable. When resources have been used to design and package a toy, it's more sustainable to ensure the toy lasts for many years. Biodegradability makes more sense for things like food packaging, which has a shorter production process than toys and does not involve as much packaging. That means this toy is not made to be thrown away after use. It's made to be played with for many years, passed on to other kids when your child outgrows it, and eventually recycled as hard plastic so resources aren't wasted.

For every kilogram of bioplastic produced, 3.09 kilograms of CO2 are removed from the atmosphere

Suitable for children aged 6 mos. to 2 yrs.

For most children, the beach or the sandbox is a favourite playground. The sand can be sculpted into fragrant cakes, quirky sand castles, or tracks so small cars and trucks can drive around in the sand piles.

Get out your shovel and bucket, fine motor skills, and imagination. With water around, and the opportunity to explore small creatures at the beach, the opportunities for play are suddenly endless - and the water and sand stimulate your child's tactile sense.

The activity supports skill development and is wonderful for your child's well-being:

  • Develops gross motor skills, which are used whenever your child moves their body.
  • Develops hand-eye coordination, a skill we use for example when catching or kicking a ball that comes flying at us in the playground, or when cutting an accurate line with a pair of scissors.
