The prerequisite for practising how to sit up and eventually stand is a good sense of balance and a well-developed vestibular sense. In our "Sit & Stand" baby category you’ll find inspiration and toys to help you help baby on their way.
When children play by stacking blocks or other objects on top of each other, which they start doing at a very early age, they also learn about physics, balance, proportions, and gravity. At first, the best part is knocking over the stack of blocks. But later on, your child's motor skills become better, and they learn to stack 3, 5, or 10 blocks or begin stacking figures or other things. Some blocks have numbers, so your child can practise numbers and their sequences while playing.
