Painting, drawing, and writing strengthen your child's grasp and fine motor skills, which are essential for learning to write legible numbers and letters.
Drawing and having fun simply helps your child gain control of the pencil, which is a big advantage at school. And it's so lovely to get a little handwritten note from your child that says "lofe u" - and just as surprising and amusing to notice the first note stuck to the door of your child’s room that says "no parints aloud". Later on, it’s time for slightly more challenging writing projects such as handwritten cards for Christmas and birthdays – all made possible by a good grasp and a steady handwriting.
