For best results, paint on watercolour paper. On regular copy paper, the colours will quickly bleed together.
Here, your child gets 12 beautiful shimmery colours to paint with. A brush is also included.
Your child doesn't need to use much water with the colours, so be careful to only give the brush a gentle dip in the water before you start.
Tip: It's a good idea to have several glasses or bowls with clean water ready for the painting project. With clean water, the watercolours stay nice for longer, and it's easier for your child to get the colour they want onto the paper. Also keep some small plates or palettes ready for mixing colours.
