The weight helps boost focus and concentration in restless or fidgety children. The octopus is attached to a small pad that fits on your child's lap during circle time or other situations when they need to sit fairly still.
The octopus vibrates when your child pulls the string, and it offers plenty of sensory stimulation for your child’s tactile sense. The octopus's soft, plushy face is nice and soothing to cuddle, and its tentacles and hair are fun to fiddle with.
The weighted octopus pad measures 34 x 60 cm and is made of felt.
Can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Weighted products should not exceed 10% of your child's body weight, unless specifically advised based on your child’s needs. For example, a 2 kg weighted pad should only be used for children weighing more than 20 kg.
Never pressure or force a child to use weighted blankets, vests, or toys against their will. Your child must always be able to remove the weighted object as they please.
