What makes this product special
Your child can simply play with this toy without first having to figure out how it works. There is no right or wrong way to play here, and there are no rules your child needs to follow. The goal is simply playing and being in the present moment. At ToyAcademy, we call this type of play intuitive play. It's also called "open ended play". We suggest that you seize the chance to notice what happens when your child plays using their intuition.
As opposed to types of play which focus on achieving a particular result, intuitive play will often give you an interesting look into your child’s own thought process, imagination, and problem-solving skills.
The activity supports skill development and is great for your child's well-being:
- Helps your child unleash their imagination.
- Time for relaxation and immersion.
- Benefits hand-eye coordination, a skill we use for example when we catch or kick the ball that comes flying towards us in PE class, when we cut accurately line with a pair of scissors, or when we want to pour a glass of water without spilling and making a mess.
