We could certainly write a whole essay about how construction play strengthens your child's hand-eye coordination, creativity, and fine motor skills as well as their understanding of geometry and interest in entrepreneurship.

With this type of play, your child also gets practical experience with solving problems as they figure out how to build the construction so it doesn't suddenly fall over. Your child's construction play with all sorts of blocks, pieces, and sticks develops their imagination and patience. Also, it's just such a confidence boost to construct a tall, tall tower or build the longest marble run ever, or to maybe create an impressive domino field and film it as it topples.

Your child can simply play with this toy without first having to figure out how it works. There is no right or wrong way to play, and there are no rules dictating what your child should do.
