Wooden Puzzle - 4 Seasons, 4x6 pcs

Item No: 14-2641
Fine motor skills
Concentration
Observation

4 small puzzles, ideal for beginners. They come in a lovely case with a handle, so they're easy to bring with you to Grandma and Grandpa’s house or on vacation.

The 4 puzzles feature designs from each season - a perfect starting point for chatting with your little one about the differences between winter, spring, summer, and fall.

As you work on puzzles together, your child develops both fine motor skills and patience. Puzzling also helps them learn to see the parts of a whole and how a single piece fits into the bigger picture.

Visual perception - our ability to understand what we see with our eyes - and imagining what’s missing are important skills for learning math and geometry, and for understanding how sentences, sums, knitwear, and so many other everyday things are built around sequences and patterns.

Measures 13 x16 cm..
Suitable for ages 2 yrs. to 4 yrs.

Doing puzzles together strengthens your child's patience and fine motor skills. Besides, putting the pieces in place is a fun way to get better at understanding how the pieces fit together to form a whole and envisioning where each piece needs to be placed in the big picture.

The ability to perceive something visually (using our eyes) and envision what's missing from a whole is an important skill for learning geometry and math as well as comprehending how sums, sentences, or even a piece of knitting, among other things, consist of sequences and patterns.

Often, puzzles have a special topic or theme, which you can talk about while you're doing it. This is a great way to strengthen your child's vocabulary about e.g. animals, flags of the world, or our universe.

The activity helps your child develop new skills and is wonderful for your child's well-being:

  • Improves your child's fine motor skills through play.
  • Encourages your child to use their ability to concentrate.
  • Helps develop observation skills.
