Board games, card games, and dice games are activities with clear and defined boundaries, which many children love. It can be nice to immerse yourself in a game where not everything is up for negotiation - a game has rules, and that can be a relief.
Moreover, playing games gives your child an opportunity to experience (and cope with) losing. We recommend not letting your child win every single time you play. Learning how to handle losing in safe surroundings with you helps make children robust and resilient. After all, you will not be able to shield your child from defeat and disappointment later in life when they have to handle things on their own.

Playbox is a Swedish toy designer and manufacturer, and since 1995 the company has produced supplies for crafts, drawing, and creative play.Playbox is among the first brands in the world to create Nordic Swan Ecolabelled fuse beads. Please note that the beads should not be ironed with fuse beads from other brands, as they melt at a higher temperature.
When paper or wood is needed in their products, Playbox uses wood from sustainable forestry. Playbox's department in China offers their employees decent working conditions under BSCI certification. And to reduce the climate impact associated with shipping from China, Playbox packs and wraps all their lovely toys in Sweden.
