A balance bike is a brilliant way to strengthen your child's balance and crossbody coordination from an early age. The thing about balance bikes is that they don't have pedals, so your child pushes the bike forward with their feet while straddling the bike.
A balance bike is a great way to challenge your child without them experiencing too many crashes or accidents - because your child has a foot on the ground at all times and is able to stop the bike and keep their balance. Being able to race around and control their own speed (far more easily than on a standard bike) gives your child a feeling of being free. At the same time, you can also teach your child about traffic signals, left/right, and being considerate of other road users.
