The sound is activated when your baby lightly taps or touches the keys, similar to the screen of a tablet or smartphone. In this way, this wooden instrument is actually high-tech while offering over 30 beautiful sounds for your baby to choose from.

Your baby can choose between two play modes by toggling the Baby Einstein button: Freestyle mode and Instructor mode.

Your child can either play the keys one by one, or launch a full symphony by activating one of the many songs the xylophone can play with the simple tap of a key.

And, as an extra bonus for parents, the xylophone has 3 different volume settings, so you can turn it down a notch when your little Stravinsky gets really enthusiastic.

This toy helps your child understand the concept of cause and effect in a musical context. The xylophone is a toy and not a real instrument. It is not made to work like a real musical instrument.
