A balance bike doesn’t have pedals, so your child pushes the bike along with their feet while straddling the bike. Balance bikes are brilliant for developing your child's crossbody coordination and balance from the time they're young.
Being able to zoom around and control their own speed (much more easily than on an ordinary bike) gives your child a feeling of being free. At the same time, you can also practise left/right, understanding traffic signals, and looking out for other road users. A balance bike is a great way to challenge your child without them having a lot of accidents - because your child has a foot on the ground at all times and can easily regain balance or stop the bike.
