A balance bike is a fantastic way to strengthen your child's crossbody coordination and balance from a young age. Balance bikes don't have pedals, so your child pushes the bike forward with their legs while straddling it.
Being able to zoom around and control their own speed (much more easily than on an ordinary bike) gives your child a feeling of being free. At the same time, you can also practise traffic signals, left/right, and being considerate of other road users. A balance bike is a great way to challenge your child without them experiencing too many accidents - because your child always has a foot on the ground and can slow down or regain balance.
