What makes this product special
Suitable for children aged 5 yrs. to 10 yrs. BioBeads are a new kind of pegboards and fuse beads from the Swedish manufacturer Nabbi, who have made fuse beads for pegboards for many years.
BioBeads are made from Biodolomer. The manufacturing process requires less than 10 % of the water required to produce bioplastics from for example sugar cane. Biodolomer does not end up as microplastics in the oceans. It's heavier than water, so it doesn't float around on the ocean surface. And over time, it completely dissolves.
If you also have regular plastic fuse beads in your fuse bead collection, note that BioBeads will not stick to fuse beads of regular plastic if ironed together. The two bead types melt at different temperatures.
