Suitable for ages 2 yrs. to 5 yrs.A balance bike is a brilliant way to strengthen your child's cross-body coordination and balance from a young age. Balance bikes don't have pedals, so your child pushes the bike along with their legs while straddling it.
Being able to race around and control their own speed (far more easily than on a standard bike) gives your child a feeling of being free. At the same time, you can also practise traffic signals, left/right, and being considerate of other road users. A balance bike is a great way to challenge your child without them having a lot of accidents - because your child has a foot on the ground at all times and can easily slow down or regain balance.
An ideal way to prepare for learning to ride a pedal bike. Once your child is a little pro on the balance bike, putting training wheels on their pedal bike often becomes an unnecessary middle step - because your child already has great balance.
